ADAI VILLAGE: Rossiu remembers an underground village that was pretty dismal. He doesn't remember anything about the religion yet, however.

Rossiu and the rest of the villagers are surprised by a machine that fell in from the ceiling. The people who arrived in the machine are presumably from the Celestial Lands (the world above ground). When one of them (a blue-haired man) attempts to touch the Face God, Rossiu intervenes and asks him not to. (3:48 - 4:37)

Magin appears and asks the guests not to test Rossiu's faith any further. Kamina gets up in the guy's face, but Magin doesn't react and instead tells Rossiu to go to bed and prepare for the ceremony tomorrow. He tells the guests to turn in for the night as well and he and Rossiu leave.

Kamina yells at Simon to grit his teeth and throws Gurren's arm at him. He then makes a speech about how they've already won and Simon pulls himself together before telling everyone to come aboard. (18:16 - 19:17)

Rossiu and Simon head out in Gurren Lagann to fight against some gunmen; as they're killing them, Simon's rage causes Lagann to go berserk and it separates, leaving Rossiu and Gurren behind. (10:08 - 12:44)

Kamina comments that without the bare midriff, Yoko has nothing left and pulls her robe up. She beats him up for that comment and Rossiu demands that they act more like Celestians. He tells his people to show them respect because they travel in the company of Face Gods. (5:50 - 6:37)

GIMMY & DARRY: Two orphans from the underground village Rossiu remembers. They were kicked out of the village and went on to travel with Kamina and company.

The lottery, in which everyone in Adai village draws a lot to see who will be chosen by the gods to leave the village. Gimmy and Darry "win". (11:23 - 12:48)
